Formed in the early 1980s as a poll-tax protest band, The Ambling Band from Bristol UK now play at parties, festivals, weddings, special events. We often play on the streets just for the fun of it and we still enjoy a good protest now and then.

Every year around Christmas, the Ambling Band busks in St Nicks Market to raise money for the local charity, Caring in Bristol, who provide accommodation , meals, companionship & entertainment for homeless people over Christmas and the New Year. Please come along and enjoy the music, get into the Christmas spirit and give generously.
